It is a crucial part of our well being and has sustained the Yolngu people and oldest living culture in the world for 60,000+ years.
Gimiyala is our way of sustainably sharing the traditional knowledge passed down through the generations and the benefits ancient wisdom and Country has to offer.

We are located on Yolngu Country in remote North East Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory of Australia
Gimiyala is a Yolngu Matha (language spoken in Arnhem Land) word describing the smooth and glassy surface of deep water. The water you can look over and see your reflection or adjust your vision to see the depth that lies beneath the surface. Each of our creations has depth, wonder, connection and the essence of Country infused.
